I would if I could a guide to web accessibility

Designing animations and moving content

Some animations and moving content can cause discomfort, nausea, and other physical reactions.

Avoid auto-playing animated media

Animated media must not auto-play for more than five seconds. If you plan to have animations go on longer than five seconds or play on an infinite loop, provide a way for users to pause the animation. An animation that cannot be paused can be extremely distracting for people with different types of cognitive disabilities.

Avoid moving properties

Animation that involves only non-moving properties, like opacity, color, and blurs, is more unlikely to be problematic.

I recommend reading the article Designing Safer Web Animation For Motion Sensitivity on A List Apart.

Respect the user's settings

The developers should also take into account the selections the users have made in their operating systems. There are settings for reducing motion. I recommend that you stop all animations from users who have chosen to reduce motion.

Image carousels

Analytics show carousels are not very effective, and they pose many accessibility challenges.

I would recommend avoiding image carousels as much as possible. If those are designed, it's good to remember that developers must put in extra effort to make them at all accessible.
